New Approaches to Stories of Iconic Detectives: Holmes, Marlowe, and Columbo

New ways to examine iconic fictional detectives include papers on gender in Victorian England as depicted in Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes stories, the effect of Raymond Chandler’s English upbringing on his creation of Philip Marlowe, and a rhetorical analysis of the investigative style of TV’s Lieutenant Columbo.
