Thanks for a great #mapaca19!
We think that our 2019 conference was one of the best we’ve ever had, and we hope you agree! Thank you for all of your hard work and great ideas - we could not have a conference without you, and we hope you attend next year’s conference on November 5-7, 2020 in Princeton, NJ!
Would you like to be an Area Chair?
The MAPACA Board is actively recruiting for new Area Chairs! We are specifically looking for chairs for the following two new areas: African and African-American Studies Asian and Asian-American Studies.
We are also looking to create a pool of people interested in becoming Area Chairs! To join the pool of potential Area Chairs or to apply to chair our new areas, please send an email expressing your interest and describing your research and/or teaching areas with a CV to vp-areas@mapaca.net.
If you have a new area you’d like to propose to the Board, please contact vp-areas@mapaca.net for more information on the process.

A record total of 83 badge holders were collected at the 2019 conference - thank you all for putting your badges to good re-use!
