MAPACA’s annual conference has grown into one of the largest regional branches of the national Popular Culture and American Culture Association (PCA/ACA). Participants from the Mid-Atlantic U.S., throughout North America, and from around the world convene each year in various Mid-Atlantic cities for what has become a truly international gathering. While the conference has grown in size to over 400 participants, it retains an intimate and inclusive character. Here, both new and experienced scholars will find receptive audiences for their work.
